Tenants FAQ's

Tenants FAQ's

Questions we get asked the most:

How do I apply for a rental property?

You can apply online through our website or via a rental listing platform. A full application, including references and proof of income, is required.

What’s included in the rent?

Rent typically covers the use of the property, but utilities (power, internet, etc.) are usually separate unless stated otherwise in the lease.

How do I report maintenance issues?

Tenants can report maintenance issues through our online portal or by contacting us directly.

When is rent due, and how do I pay?

Rent is due on the agreed date in your lease, usually weekly. Payments are made via bank transfer or direct debit.

What happens if I need to break my lease?

You must provide the required notice as per your tenancy agreement. Breaking a lease early may involve financial penalties unless a new tenant is found.

Can I have pets in the rental property?

Pet policies vary by property. If allowed, a pet bond or additional conditions may apply.

Can I make changes to the property?

Any modifications, including painting or hanging pictures, require written approval from the landlord.

How much notice do I need to give if I want to move out?

The notice period depends on your lease agreement—usually 28 days for periodic leases and as specified for fixed-term leases.
